Understanding how players earn points in our fantasy football leagues
Outfield Players Scoring System
Our standard scoring system rewards players for their offensive and defensive contributions. Different actions earn different point values:

Goal (Midfielder) | 5 points |
Goal (Defender) | 6 points |
Assist | 3 points |
Clean Sheet (Defender) | 4 points |
Clean Sheet (Midfielder) | 1 point |
Playing up to 60 minutes | 1 point |
Playing 60+ minutes | 2 points |
Yellow Card | -1 point |
Red Card | -3 points |
Penalty Miss | -2 points |
Own Goal | -2 points |
Goalkeeper Scoring System
Goalkeepers earn points based on their performance in goal:
Goalkeeper Action | Points |
---|---|
Clean Sheet | 4 points |
Save (per 3 saves) | 1 point |
Penalty Save | 5 points |
Goal Conceded | -1 point |
Playing up to 60 minutes | 1 point |
Playing 60+ minutes | 2 points |
Goal Scored | 6 points |
Assist | 3 points |
Yellow Card | -1 point |
Red Card | -3 points |
Bonus Points System
In addition to our standard scoring system, we award bonus points to the top-performing players in each match:
Performance | Bonus Points |
---|---|
Best player in the match | 3 points |
Second best player in the match | 2 points |
Third best player in the match | 1 point |
The Bonus Points System (BPS) uses a range of statistics to create a performance score for every player. The best-performing players in each match receive bonus points.
League Types
We offer multiple league formats, each with its own scoring approach:
Classic Scoring
In this format, you compete against all other managers in your league. The manager with the most points at the end of the season wins the league.
Points accumulate over the entire season, and there are no head-to-head matchups.
Head-to-Head Points
In this format, you face off against another manager each week. The manager whose team accumulates more fantasy points during the matchup period wins that matchup.
Your league standings are determined by your win-loss-tie record over the course of the season.
Head-to-Head Categories
In this format, you compete in specific statistical categories (e.g., Goals, Assists, Clean Sheets) against your opponent each week.
You earn a win for each category you win during the matchup. Your league standings are determined by your cumulative category wins across all matchups.
